Flagship Terms of Service
Effective date: August 19, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase, installation, and use of Flagship software and related services provided by Mutiny FX, LLC, doing business as Mutiny FX ("Mutiny FX," "we," "us," or "our").
By purchasing, downloading, installing, activating, or using Flagship, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.
1. Flagship software
Flagship is network-rendering management software designed to coordinate rendering workflows involving Adobe After Effects, Blender, and associated worker computers.
Flagship may include:
Flagship Manager.
Flagship Worker.
The Adobe After Effects user-interface panel.
The Blender integration or plugin.
Documentation, updates, and related utilities.
Adobe After Effects, Blender, operating systems, third-party plugins, codecs, fonts, project assets, and network infrastructure are not included with Flagship.
2. License grant
When you purchase a Flagship Manager license, Mutiny FX grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to install and use Flagship Manager on one authorized computer at a time.
A perpetual license allows you to continue using the version of Flagship purchased. It does not guarantee access to future major versions, new products, or indefinitely provided support services unless expressly stated at the time of purchase.
Flagship Worker, the After Effects panel, and the Blender integration may be installed on an unlimited number of computers for use with a properly licensed Flagship Manager.
You may move a Manager license to another computer using the provided deactivation and activation functions. You may not simultaneously activate or use one Manager license on multiple Manager computers.
3. Trial license
Mutiny FX may offer a time-limited trial. Unless otherwise stated, the trial lasts 30 days from successful activation.
Trials may be limited to one activation per person, email address, computer, organization, promotion, or campaign. Attempts to circumvent trial limitations may result in suspension or termination of trial access.
A trial may require an internet connection for activation and license verification.
4. License restrictions
You may not:
Share, sell, sublicense, rent, or distribute a Manager license key.
Circumvent activation, machine limits, trial limits, or license verification.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover non-public source code, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Modify Flagship to remove copyright, attribution, security, or licensing controls.
Use Flagship to violate copyright, privacy, export-control, or other applicable laws.
Represent Flagship as your own product or use Mutiny FX trademarks without permission.
You may make reasonable backup copies of installers and documentation for internal use.
5. Your content and systems
You retain ownership of your projects, renders, assets, and other content.
Flagship accesses project files and dependencies through storage locations and network paths configured by you. You are responsible for:
Maintaining backups of project files and rendered output.
Ensuring that render nodes have appropriate file, network, and software access.
Obtaining valid licenses for After Effects, Blender, plugins, fonts, codecs, and other dependencies.
Securing your local network, shared folders, credentials, and computers.
Confirming that all render output is complete and accurate before delivery or publication.
Flagship does not upload your project assets to Mutiny FX as part of its normal licensing process.
6. Internet access and licensing
Flagship Manager requires internet access for initial activation and periodic license verification.
The licensing service may process a machine fingerprint, computer name, license status, and related technical information to activate the license, enforce its computer limit, prevent abuse, and permit license migration.
Interfering with license verification or providing false activation information is a violation of these Terms.
7. Purchases and Paddle
Our order process is conducted through Paddle. Paddle acts as the merchant of record and authorized reseller for Flagship purchases. Paddle processes payments, calculates applicable taxes, issues receipts, provides payment-related customer support, and administers returns and refunds.
Your purchase is also subject to the current Paddle Buyer Terms and Paddle Refund Policy.
Do not send payment-card information directly to Mutiny FX. We do not receive or store complete payment-card details from Paddle Checkout.
8. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Flagship Refund Policy, Paddle's policies, and applicable consumer law.
If a transaction is refunded, reversed, charged back, or determined to be fraudulent, the associated Flagship license may be revoked or suspended.
9. Updates and support
Mutiny FX may provide maintenance updates, corrections, compatibility updates, or new features at its discretion.
Updates may change system requirements or discontinue compatibility with older third-party software. Mutiny FX does not control Adobe, Blender, operating-system vendors, plugin developers, or network-hardware vendors and cannot guarantee continued compatibility with every third-party product.

10. Availability
We aim to keep activation and license-verification services available, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Services may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, internet outages, hosting-provider failures, security incidents, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
11. Intellectual property
Flagship, its source code, design, documentation, branding, and related materials are owned by Mutiny FX or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws.
Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flagship is provided "as is" and "as available." Mutiny FX disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not warrant that every project, plugin, codec, network configuration, third-party application, or render will operate without errors.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mutiny FX will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost production time, lost data, lost projects, missed deadlines, or business interruption arising from Flagship.
To the extent liability cannot be excluded, Mutiny FX's aggregate liability relating to Flagship will not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable Flagship Manager license during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
14. Termination
These Terms remain effective until terminated.
Your license rights may be suspended or terminated if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the licensing system, engage in fraud, or receive a refund or payment reversal.
Upon termination, you must stop using Flagship Manager and remove copies for which you no longer hold a valid license.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights, disputes shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Benton County, Arkansas.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Flagship, our business, legal requirements, or service providers. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
Material changes will apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.
